ACT: request for lower costs participation Euradopt conference

6 February 2020

EurAdopt Conference 2020.

As you know, there isthese days a particular awareness with the international adoption system.

We are a larger group of adult adopted, who have a particular interest in participating and following in the field.

As the high cost of participation keeps the adoptees from participating, we hereby request you / the National Board of Appeal to cover the cost of registration fees, accommodation and travel costs for approximately 5 adopted.

For the sake of possible participation planning, you are requested to return as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance and best regards

Dear Mr Dohle,

Thank you for your interest in the EurAdopt Conference. You are welcome to attend, but we are sadly not able to reduce the price of the tickets. The attendance of speakers is on invitation only and we have selected them according to the conference topic. The program is already finalised.

Kind regards,

Maria Doré

Subject: Conference

Dear Madam/ Sir,

given our work in the field of intercountry adoptions, we requested to be allowed to make a presentation about the various scandals we uncovered and the way they have been adressed.

Kindly let us know as soon as possible, so that we can plan accordingly.

Further i request that adult adoptees are give a very reduced fee for the conference. The very high fee is a huge deterrent for adult adoptees to attend as this ads to travel costs and accommodation.

Sincerely

Arun Dohle
