Select Committee on Birth Trauma
This Select Committee was established on 21 June 2023 to inquire into and report on birth trauma.
Submissions
The committee has received over 4000 submissions.
Thank you to all individuals who have contributed to the inquiry. Sharing your story will help inform the committee's understanding of the issues.
Please note, the committee will be prioritising the processing and reviewing of submissions from individuals residing in NSW. While all other individual submissions will be distributed and considered by members, they will likely be kept confidential.
Individual experiences
Submissions about individual experiences will inform our thinking about birth trauma. However, this inquiry will not be conducting investigations or reviews of individual cases.
Specific concerns about individual experiences can be raised with the NSW Health Care Complaints Commission by calling 02 9219 7444 or emailing hccc@hccc.nsw.gov.au.
