Adopted in 2009, when he was just a few months old, Alexandru is now a teenager passionate about music and studying the piano. Oana Sârbu, known for her role in the film "Liceenii" but also for her unmistakable voice, said that the boy inherits her love for music and that she will support him in whatever direction he chooses in life. 

" My priority in life is the child. God gave him to me when it was necessary, at 40 years old. I am dedicated to him and I hope to be a great mother. I have a little boy who came exactly when I wanted to be a mother - it doesn't matter in what way ," the artist confessed, according to viva.ro.
 

For Oana, motherhood was not just an important step, but the revelation of a new world.
" It's an extraordinary world, which I can't describe in words. I'm so enriched by this personality of my little boy, by the exchange of lines I have with him, by the way he grows, by the world I discover with him, by the fact that I read entire shelves of books about how to raise children... Alexandru's adoption took place during her relationship with journalist Robert Turcescu. The two formed a well-known couple in the social world, and the decision to become parents together was, at the time, a brave step. Alexandru was brought into their lives in the summer of 2009, and since then, Oana has become a dedicated and discreet presence in the role of mother.
 

Oana and Robert's relationship lasted a decade, but in 2014 the two decided to go their separate ways. However, statements made by the artist a year before the breakup hint at an imminent breakup.
 

" We are not married, nor have we ever intended to be. I don't know if we will ever do it or not. There are times when I think we will break up. In the eight years since we have been together, we have been through a billion things ," Oana told Libertatea in 2013. 

Robert Turcescu, another life, another marriage 

After breaking up with Oana Sârbu, Robert Turcescu rebuilt his life with Oana Nuțu, a fashion designer. The two are married and have a daughter together.
