Concern for Children

Concern for Children is a support group for individuals and families touched by adoption. It is a non-profit, charitable organization which focuses on assisting and educating those interested in international adoption, providing guidance and support to families formed by adoption, and assisting children in need in Latin America.

In 1996 article
Burns said her group, Concern for Children, helped arrange 400 to 500 local adoptions beginning in 1979. Most of the children came from El Salvador, although after 1985 local parents began adopting children from Colombia and Honduras.
