Bub is already well-travelled ( Kate van Doore )
BEFORE she was even born, little Anouk Lien India had already visited three countries.
Anouk's mum Kate van Doore-Nave and her partner Andrea are involved with the Forget Me Not Children's Home, a charity in Hervey Bay that supports orphaned children overseas.
The couple travel to do work with the charity about twice a year and when Kate was about 20 weeks pregnant they visited Nepal, Uganda and India.
"She is well travelled already," Kate said.
Because they have spent so much time overseas, especially in Nepal, Kate said they were both relaxed about the visit.
"We know Nepal very well - we had no worries," she said.
The two are planning to return to Nepal later this year to show Anouk off to all the people overseas who were also looking forward to her arrival.
Kate went into labour on May 22 and was in labour for about nine hours before Anouk made her arrival in the early hours of May 23. Kate had a straightforward pregnancy and labour.
Anouk has two older stepsisters, Millie and Ebony, who were delighted with the arrival of their new sibling.
"They are thrilled," Kate said.
The couple chose the name Anouk, which means full of grace, because of Kate's Dutch heritage.
Her middle name, India, is in honour of Anouk's visit to the country while she was still in her mum's womb.
The family has had plenty of visitors and said Anouk had become something of a Facebook star since her arrival.
