Adoption of children: New models of documents used in the adoption procedure have emerged
This year, the legislation on child adoption has undergone a number of changes, including changes to the extension of the validity of the adopter certificate and the introduction of more debureaucratization measures in the adoption procedure. Then, in order to reflect all the changes that have taken place this year, the authorities on Wednesday published the new models of documents used in the procedure for adopting children, including the certificate of person or family fit to adopt, the application for assessment and the application of international adoption.
Order of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection no. 1,430 / 2021, published on Wednesday in the Official Gazette no. 774, contains new models of documents used in the adoption procedure .
Specifically, the normative act contains the new model of:
the certificate of a person or family fit to adopt;
the request for evaluation in order to issue the certificate of person / family able to adopt;
the final evaluation report on the adopter / adoptive family;
the counseling and information report of the natural parents / guardian prior to expressing consent to the adoption;
the initial matching synthetic sheet;
the matching relationship between the child and the adopter / adoptive family;
the report on the evolution of the relationship between the child and the adopter / adoptive family;
application for international adoption;
the report on the child used in international adoption;
the annual reassessment report on the adopter / adoptive family;
certificate of conformity for international adoption (Article 23 of the Convention on Protection of Children and Cooperation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption).
In addition, the order also contains the topic of the training sessions.
These new models of documents, forms and tools used in the adoption procedure have been published as a result of changes in the field since the beginning of the year.
Specifically, since March, adoption procedures have been radically changed, for example, the validity of the certificate of adopter or adoptive family has been extended to five years (before it was two years), and the method of calculating the allowance for accommodation has changed. it is now calculated on the basis of the average net income and no longer has a fixed value, as it was before.
