Canadian Advocates for the Adoption of Children (CAFAC)
History of CAFAC
CAFAC was founded in January of 1995 by adoptive parents of Ethiopian children.
We served as facilitators for Ethiopian adoptions until March 1999, when
CAFAC became a licensed adoption agency under Manitoba's new Adoption Act and Regulations.
With licensing, CAFAC Adoption Agency has sought to assist with the adoption of children to Canadian families from many countries. Because it's first beginnings in Ethiopia, CAFAC is the agency in Canada with the most experience in Ethiopia adoptions.
CAFAC agency is licenced, accredited, and recognized in many country programs by foreign authorities.
