Sajeda returns home after 40- yr from Netherlands

A couple left their two female children in the waiting train at Gafargaon Railway Station 40 years ago for not giving them food and clothing . After that two sisters were lost . The names of the ill-fated two sisters are Sajeda and Mallika.
After 40 years ,little daughter Sajeda has come back her parent's home. She has got her own relatives. Only that parents were not alive. The parents who left their children in the train was in hardship. As ill luck would have it , they were taken shelter at Mother shelter, from there the two children were taken shelter at the house of two couples in Netherlands.
Sajeda and her husband Samas citizen of Netherlands with two daughters came back her village Kharua Mukunda of Rawna Union under Gafargaon Upazila with the association of a team of Ittadi on Monday last.
Sources said ,they were 6/7 years old that time . Parents could not collect food for them in a family. As a result, the parents of ill-fated two sisters left them in a train . Later, the train stopped at Tongi Railway Station and hearing cry of two sisters a local man got admitted themselves at a shelter home situated at Dattapara. They spent two years there. They could not remember family. Later, Evert Baker and Meriant Rejland couple of Netherlands came to Bangladesh in 1980. Then they took Mallika as adopted daughter. Later, the another couple of Netherlands took Sajeda as adopted daughter through that couple. Sajeda and Mallika grew up there. Samas a citizen of Netherlands married Sajeda and they have two daughters in a happy family. At the time of taking adopted daughters , they were known as Bangladeshi .But their real identity was not traced out .Later, she became failure to know the identity of her parents in Bangladesh.
A report was published in the dailies and popular Magazine Function Ittadi with them. Following this source many people communicated with the authority about their lost children. Among them relatives of Sajeda and Mallika from Gafargaon communicated with the authority of Ittadi . The identity of Sajeda and Mallika is opened through DNA test by their application.
When Sajeda . her husband and two daughters came to village home , a heart rending situation is created. During that hours her elder sister Solemon Nesa and brother Sutu Mea hugged with her and said, our sister has come back after 40 years. We thought our sister died. We are have very happy now. But Sajeda can not speak Bangali now. Later, Sajeda went to graveyard and recited Fateha for her parents.
Now relatives and many people come here to see Sajeda. Their family is in a festive mood.. If father lives, he would be very happy.
Rawna UP chairman Shahabul Alam said, the people of whole village are very happy to get Sajeda among them. Many people are crowded to see Sajeda everyday. They are trying to entertain the people as they could.
