The Cailloux Foundation
Floyd A. and Kathleen C. Cailloux created The Floyd A. & Kathleen C. Cailloux Foundation in 1994. The Foundation’s mission is to perpetuate the vision of Floyd A. and Kathleen C. Cailloux.
Mr. Cailloux was cofounder of Keystone International (KII), and was instrumental in the company becoming a world leader in the manufacturing and marketing of industrial butterfly valves for general industry under the Keystone brand. Shortly after Mr. Cailloux’s death in 1997 the company was sold to Tyco International (TYC).
For 29 years Floyd and Kathleen Cailloux were major stockholders in Keystone International which had 4,500 employees with manufacturing plants and sales offices around the world. Keystone International manufactured valves and actuators under various brand names such as Keystone, Anderson Greenwood, Yarway, Valvtron, Prince, Vanessa, and Morin.
In 1982, Mr. and Mrs. Cailloux moved from Houston to Kerrville, Texas where they became very involved in charitable endeavors in the Texas Hill Country and around the state. Mrs. Cailloux died June 16, 2007. The Foundation continues these endeavors by awarding grants to eligible nonprofit organizations mainly in the Hill Country.
